I did a press day hitting up the big dogs and headed down the block to legendary photographer Jonathan Mannion’s studio to handle a photo shoot. We needed some art for the walls of the Ink Suite at Hotel Marcel so while we were there I knocked out 2 canvases to make it feel more like home.

Later we got a bite to eat at Bar Pitti before heading over to Artwalk NY, which was hosted by Alec Baldwin and Richard Gere. We have Artwalk in Downtown LA once a month, it’s a great event and for a good cause – the proceeds from all of the art that was on auction goes to help out the homeless.

On the way home to Hotel Marcel we stopped through Soho to pay respect to my homie, graffiti legend Futura, on his birthday. It was good to catch up with a couple of other legends, Quinones and Stay High 149. Stay High was one of the first guys ever to write his tag in NYC, a true innovator of NY graffiti.
